Terri - well said! See, injustice and justice will always be linked, not just alphabetically! To recognize the injustices in the world, folks must initially understand the concept of justice. I think the problem lies in the prejudice or preconceived views that those in "power" or fine circumstances often have. i.e.: "nothing is wrong in my life, how can that not be true for you?" Thank you for an inspiring take on the world, and what work we might have in it! kathy
Kathy, thank you for your kind words! I think people exempt themselves by accepting their own perception of truth as truth, by laying blame, and a whole host of other ways. I think people also have to recognize their own role in creating justice or injustice around them.
I am the mother of three, wife of one. I am a Partners in Policymaking graduate and a committed disability advocate. I want to catch up on my scrapbooking, learn more about art-journaling, get my house in order, read all the books I have set aside to read and change the world--not necessarily in that order. The opinions in this blog are my own and not those of any of employers.
